I’ve just finished this pen & watercolour painting of Craigievar Castle, a fairytale Scottish castle currently undergoing conservation until 2024. The Forbes family resided here for over 300 years before placing it in the care of the National Trust for Scotland in the 1960s.

The painted area is approx 9¼” x 7⅛” (23.5 x 18cm) on a larger sheet of Arches 300gsm Hot Pressed watercolour paper and painted using Winsor & Newton professional watercolour paints.
