The tiny fishing hamlet of Penberth Cove lies at the foot of a wooded valley just to the east of Porthcurno, Cornwall. It is one of the prettiest spots around and has changed little for the last 100 years or so.

I lived in Cornwall for a few years back in the 90’s and I still look to Cornish scenes for inspiration. This is my interpretation of a scene from the village in pen and watercolour.
