Original Artwork: Early 20th Century Yorkshire Home

I’ve just completed a commissioned portrait of this gorgeous early 20th century end-terrace house in Yorkshire, England. It’s my pen & watercolour interpretation of photos provided by the customer.

For the drawing I used a selection of UniPin fine line pens and for the painting it was Winsor & Newton professional quality watercolours on Saunders Waterford 300gsm paper with Rosemary & Co brushes. Finally I also used Faber-Castell Polychromos Colour Pencils for the stained Glass detail in the doorway.

Most of the pen work was done prior to applying the watercolour although I went over some lines again at the end.

I really enjoyed doing this one and am very happy with the outcome.
