My name is Gordon McLeman and I’m a self-taught artist living in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, working mainly in pen & watercolour.

I’ve had a varied career, from geophysicist to international tax specialist and, whilst I enjoyed all of it, I’m now retired and all of that is behind me.

I now paint whatever takes my fancy but am happiest with landscapes & sea-scapes, buildings & industrial scenes, and living in Aberdeenshire it’s perhaps no surprise that I’ve done quite a few oil & gas and fishing related subjects.

Most of my work is available for sale as prints and I also sell some of my originals and take commissions.
