Hello, I’m Gordon McLeman, a self-taught artist based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I spend much of my time creating art using pen and watercolour.

I’ve had quite the journey, from being a geophysicist to working as an international tax expert. I loved every part of it, but now that I’m retired, all that is just a memory.

Now that I have the freedom to paint whatever I want whenever I want, I am happiest when I am painting landscapes, seascapes, buildings and industrial scenes. Living in Aberdeenshire, it is perhaps not a surprise that I have painted quite a few subjects related to oil and gas and fishing.

Many of my works are available for purchase as prints. I also sell some of my original pieces and accept commissions.
