My latest pen and watercolour sketch, showing the red and white platform supply vessel “VOS Passion” moored in Aberdeen harbour alongside the blue silos of Cebo UK, that hold drilling fluids.

This one is based on my own reference photo. 

VOS Passion has a novel hull design that enables it to remain more stable during poor weather conditions and, because it uses less fuel to get through the waves, helps to save energy.

Aberdeen harbour is one of my favourite ‘go-to’ places for inspiration and I was drawn to the strong primary colours that dominate this scene.
