I’ve just completed this Welsh house portrait commission and really like it, the buyer wanted it as a housewarming gift for friends so I hope they like it too.

As this is still a fairly new venture for me it took a bit longer to complete than I thought it would, in fact this is my second attempt at it. I also had to do some research to get the composition that the buyers wanted; they only had an angled view from the estate agent’s blurb, but wanted a ‘face-on’ portrait for their friends.

I’m now working on something closer to home, a Pittodrie House portrait which will be a wedding anniversary gift for a couple that tied the knot there. I’ll post that one on social media when it’s done.
