Shoreham-by-Sea (often shortened to Shoreham) is a town on the south coast of England, roughly half-way between Brighton and Worthing.

Shoreham has a pebble beach, which was the main reason for doing this painting; to try a method I’d read about for creating the impression of a pebble beach without having to paint each pebble individually!

I think you’ll agree that the method works pretty well (and all it needs is an old toothbrush and some masking fluid).

So this is my attempt at Shoreham’s pebble beach (the two fishing boats are ‘Moo Moo’ (SM806) and ‘Warren B’ (SM214))
