Georgian Terrace, Bath, England

Georgian Terrace, Bath, England

I really enjoyed doing this ‘urban style’ pen and watercolour painting of these terraced houses in Bath, England.

This image is a section of the longest listed row in the City which line the top end of the London Road.

When Jane Austen moved to Bath in 1801 she entered the City by way of the London Road which sweeps in from the east and curves across the top of the bend in the River Avon which borders the southern part of the City of Bath, so hopefully she would have recognised this image!
